St. Francis Xavier Jesuit Elementary school is an exceptional institution with a rich legacy of almost 90 years. Throughout these years, St. Francis has educated thousands of students and provided an influential environment for students to grow, learn, and succeed through our strong Jesuit traditions. Our written mission, St. Francis Xavier School, a faith community grounded on Jesuit Principles of superior education, cultivates excellence in mind, body, and spirit, sending forth Kids for Others, is a mission lived by our students and community. Our students truly become men and women for others.

We are grateful for the generous financial support from many benefactors who have built our school from its beginning in 1936, the years following, and when we needed completely new facilities in 2010. Our community has unselfishly built this school from the ground up (twice), and they have provided for the many needs, big and small, that a school requires to be at the forefront of education.

The school intends to build a lasting legacy through an Endowment, The St. Ignatius Fund, for scholarships, our beloved Angel Fund, and for general school needs. The primary goal of creating an endowment is to ensure a perpetual legacy for St. Francis Xavier. We hope to have a sustainable source of funding which will help us remain operational and continue to provide a high quality education to students in Central Phoenix.

The endowment for scholarships will enable the school to offer financial assistance to deserving students who may not have the means to afford the tuition. This will allow the school to be more inclusive and accessible to a diverse range of students while upholding the values of Jesuit education. The Angel Fund serves the most needy of our community, and the health of this endowment will allow us to continue our mission of meeting each person where they are and assisting them along their journey.

By establishing this endowment and receiving support from benefactors, St. Francis Xavier Jesuit School aims to solidify its position as a leading Catholic school in the Diocese of Phoenix as well as among Jesuit schools across the country. The contributions from benefactors, both in the past and present, are deeply appreciated as they have played a crucial role in shaping the school’s history and providing a foundation for its growth. With the support of the community through The St. Ignatius Fund, the school will continue to be a dynamic Jesuit school for generations to come, continuing its mission to provide an excellent education and instill Jesuit values in its students.
