Established in 1997, it is Mission of Mercy Arizona’s mission is to restore dignity and heal through Love by providing free primary healthcare, prescription medications and relevant health education to Arizona’s uninsured individuals and families. We believe everyone should have a fair opportunity to attain their full health potential. MOM strives to provide greater access to care and remove health equity obstacles by positioning our bilingual mobile medical clinics in 6 of the most under-served communities across Maricopa County. MOM’s medical operations are 95% run by volunteer doctors, nurses and clinic support personnel, and serves an average of 2500 unique patients, hosting nearly 15,000 medical visits annually.
Yet MOM offers much more than medicine. At Mission of Mercy, we restore personal dignity, empower our patients, and strengthen the communities in which they live and work through the healing of their bodies. Driven by a deep commitment toward compassionate medical care, MOM’s service delivery model is informed by our faith rooted values. We aim to be a vessel through which our savior’s divine, healing Love shows through at all times. We serve all who come to us in need, and will never put someone through the indignity of having to prove their poverty to receive medical care.
