Last year, during the Digital Giving Tree pilot, the program completed over $32,000 and 600 items in just 3 weeks for participating organizations in need! This year we are happy to announce the Digital Giving Tree is back and your organization is invited to participate! Please join us for a free workshop to learn more about the giving platform and how you can share this opportunity with your community.
An online giving platform is essentially an online retail "store". It provides your community of donors with a tangible way to show their support by giving them an opportunity to browse online and fulfill your list of needed items. When your supporters visit the ShopForACause / Digital Giving Tree website under your organization's page, they can shop through a list of needed items you have chosen to include. These items are dependent on your ministry's needs. Items could include anything from sacred vessels and altar supplies to basic hygiene products and diapers to Chromebooks and school supplies. Once a user chooses their item(s), and a secure payment is made, the item is shipped directly from the warehouse retailer (Amazon/Walmart) to your location for a contactless and efficient giving experience!
The response for the Digital Giving Tree was overwhelming last giving season. Last year, during the Digital Giving Tree pilot, the program completed over $32,000 and 600 items in just 3 months for participating organizations in need!
