All service hours completed by the student MUST be entered on the Service Record.

The minimum required hours is 100. However, the more service a student has done the stronger their application is. Qualifying service must be completed between June 1st, before the students 7th grade year to January 1st, the students 8th Grade year. See button below for Qualifying Service Guidelines for specific details and examples of qualifying service.

Detailed descriptions of your service with specific dates are required for application. It is okay to group hours, but list all dates and total hours per day. The detailed nature of this Service Record is why we encourage students to download and start using the Service Record to track their hours from the beginning of eligibility, June 1st, before the students 7th grade year and to keep up with tracking on the Service Record through January 1st of the students 8th grade year.
