May God bless all of us abundantly as we walk through this Lent together.
For my wife Rebecca and me, our faith is the most important part of our lives. The Catholic Community Foundation helps us put our faith into action through streamlining our charitable giving and helping us support our favorite Catholic ministries in an impactful way. As one famous saint has said, "Faith is seen more in deeds than in words."
For over 36 years, the Catholic Community Foundation has been creating and managing the financial vehicles necessary for you to leave the Catholic legacy you want. As a longtime estate planning and business attorney in the Valley, I know how important it is for all families to plan well. For over 20 years, I have been blessed to serve the Foundation in various volunteer capacities, and I am currently serving as the Chairman of the Board for the Foundation. It has been an amazing journey, and I am happy to serve in accomplishing the mission of encouraging philanthropy and providing financial support for Catholic evangelization and education. Whether it is to schedule a wills and trusts seminar at your parish or a one-on-one legacy planning meeting with one of our team, to join the Giving Circle in order to make impactful grants for incredible ministries, or to sponsor a future student leader through the Christian Service Awards or other needs-based scholarships, I encourage you to call us today to ask how the Foundation can help you leave your Catholic Legacy.
May you and all of your loved ones have a wonderful Lent, a powerful Holy Week, and a blessed Triduum! Then, after a wonderful Triduum, I hope that you will all join us for the 32nd Annual Crozier Gala on April 25, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Gainey Ranch. This year's theme is "Keeping the Faith", and our keynote speaker is Curtis Martin, the Founder of Focus Missionaries. For 32 years, the Crozier Gala has been a wonderful way to celebrate our Catholic faith in the Diocese of Phoenix, and this year there is one added bonus - - thanks to a special CCF program called the "Million Dollar Match", the proceeds of the Crozier Gala will be increased by an additional 50% match up to $50,000 per person. That means that we can all make an even larger impact at this year's Crozier Gala. You can learn more about this year's Crozier Gala and the Giving Circle by checking the links in this paragraph (www.ccfphx.org/crozier).
I invite you to come be part of another wonderful Crozier Gala, and the "Million Dollar Match", as we raise funds for these amazing Catholic organizations in our Diocese. Lenten blessings to all of you, and I will see you there on April 25
