As we celebrate Advent, the Catholic Community Foundation has selected three of its managed endowments to receive a donor match during its Annual Advent Appeal.
When you make an end-of-year contribution, the Catholic Community Foundation will match all gifts up to $25,000 (and 25% after that) to the endowment fund you choose below.

Introducing this year's Annual Advent Appeal Endowments
We encourage you to learn about each group that benefits from the Advent Appeal Match as you consider your end-of-year giving. Each organization has been chosen for the compassionate services they provide to vulnerable individuals in our community, and each specializes in a different area. They all need your support to continue growing their endowment and to provide ongoing assistance to those they serve. Which group resonates with you the most?

Mission of Mercy AZ
Offers free primary medical care and prescription medications through permanent and mobile clinics. Driven by compassionate, patient-centered Christian values, Mission of Mercy ensures that no one is denied treatment due to financial constraints. Funded through private donations, their clinics across the Valley serve over 11,000 patients each year, addressing gaps in healthcare services. Building their endowment will help secure future care for Arizona’s most vulnerable populations.

Saving Amy
Helps families and veterans overcome homelessness by fostering a supportive community and offering specialized programs designed to break the cycle of poverty. This holistic approach addresses every aspect of life, enabling families and veterans to achieve self-sufficiency and maintain stable housing and employment. Saving Amy proudly reports a 100% success rate, with all families involved in continuing to thrive in their own homes and contributing positively to society.

Care Forever Fund
Each year the Care Forever Fund provides perpetual resources to organizations that feed, clothe, heal, and restore dignity within our community. These are the organizations with processes in place and ready to meet the needs of our community where they are. Each of the organizations highlighted in this letter has benefitted from grant funding provided by the Care Forever Fund. Give to this endowment fund and your contribution will have a lasting impact - forever.

WHY ARE ENDOWMENTS ESSENTIAL?
Each of these groups understands the importance of establishing an endowment for stability. By doing so, each nonprofit is letting the community know that it is thinking long-term and building assets for its own future sustainability. With the help of donors today, each group will create a stable and reliable source of long-term funding in the future, creating a strong foundation during uncertain times.
An endowment is essentially setting aside a pool of invested money where only the generated income is used for operations, ensuring the principal amount remains intact and continues to grow over time.
