What is your role at the Catholic Community Foundation?

I am the Director of Fundraising at the Foundation. I will focus my efforts on special events and helping grow the Catholic Leadership Circle.

How long have you worked with the Catholic Community Foundation?

I am brand new at the Catholic Community Foundation! I started in August.

What is your favorite part of your career with the Catholic Community Foundation?

My favorite part of working at the Catholic Community Foundation is that my work and my faith life are integrated.

Is there an event or project coming up that you’re looking forward to? Why?

Absolutely! I am very excited about the Catholic Community Foundation’s Crozier Gala which will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Diocese of Phoenix. We want to share the impact that both the Diocese and the Catholic Community Foundation have had on the community over the last 50 years.

What was your professional experience before joining the Foundation team?

I began fundraising as a non-paid volunteer because I was a full-time mom (greatest job in the world!). I got my start at the Junior League of Phoenix and progressed to various other community organizations in the Valley including my children’s schools — OLPH Catholic School in Scottsdale, Xavier and Brophy. The highlight was when I chaired the CCF Crozier Gala as a volunteer in 2005. I finally began fundraising professionally in 2012 when I joined the development office at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. Prior to joining CCF, I was the Director of Development at Saint Mary’s Catholic High School.

Is there anything else about your role with the Catholic Community Foundation you’d like to share?

In my role at CCF, I have already had the opportunity to re-connect with old friends who are a part of the Foundation. I also look forward to meeting new people who care about our mission and the impact we have on the community.
