As Director of Development, I am blessed to work with individuals, families and Catholic organizations in creating resources and opportunities today that span generations. I love meeting new people and establishing relationships with the faithful and generous people that allow me to work with them, leaving an incredible impact in our community.
I’ve worked at the Catholic Community Foundation for nearly five years and enjoy coming to work each day.
I love how my faith is part of a community of philanthropy that supports so many Catholic agencies. There’s a new opportunity around every corner, but very few that put Christ first. That’s what makes the Foundation so special.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many memorable people on even more creative and diverse projects, it is hard to choose just one. Recently, however, I had the opportunity to deliver educational toys and learning materials with the owners of The Learning Journey International to our Diocesan preschools just before Christmas. The way each child lit up with joy as we carried in boxes upon boxes was unforgettable.
It has also been a privilege to work with our Christian Service Award sponsors and Catholic Leadership Circle members to provide service-based scholarships and grants in our community.
The Catholic Leadership Circle is kicking off the 2018-2019 grant year on October 4, 2018. Beginning this year, we’ve created membership options for virtually everyone and they will be awarding more grants than any year since its inception. I’m excited for what the future holds for this growing group!
I believe the Foundation has the ability to help create a long-lasting impact in our community through our Catholic faith and our way of thinking “outside the box” by approaching challenges and opportunities in a way that only the Foundation can. I’m grateful for all our benefactors, board members and volunteers who make that possible.BACK TO LIST
